In today’s world the cyber landscape changes rapidly and we recognize it is our job to alert you to new critical security needs. We are also here to simplify your decision-making around where to invest your attention and money when it comes to cybersecurity. With recent changes to the threat landscape and our reliance on remote working, we recommend a key change to your security strategy.
Problem: Traditional anti-virus software is no longer effective enough
Like the flu vaccine, typical Anti-Virus applications only protect against viruses and threats that it knows of, and like the flu vaccine when the virus mutates, typical AV software will not be able to protect against the threat. Threats are mutating and evolving at an astronomical rate and additional protection has moved from the “ideal” category to “critical”.
Solution: Next-generation endpoint security
In addition to your traditional anti-virus, we recommend a more advanced approach. Greystone has packaged the necessary solutions into a simple “per user” solution called Premier Endpoint Security. With PES, we have partnered with industry leaders to bring next-level protection.
What you get with Premier Endpoint Security
1: Artificial Intelligence-based Software Agent
We start with an Advanced Endpoint Protection (AEP) agent from SentinelOne that monitors your systems in a different way. Rather than just comparing your system to a list of known viruses, it analyzes behavior and symptoms using an AI-based engine to identify behind the scenes actions that are indications of a cybersecurity issue. Obviously malicious actions are blocked automatically and suspicious actions generate an immediate alert.
2: 24/7 Security Operations Team
The moment a threat is detected the security team at the Security Operations Center can act on the system in question diluting or even mitigating any impact of the identified threat. The SOC is a team of certified, dedicated technicians standing by and watching to make sure incidents are prevented in real-time or mitigated before causing damage.
3: Microsoft 365 Threat Watch
The moment a threat is detected the security team at the Security Operations Center can act on the system in question diluting or even mitigating any impact of the identified threat.
How much does this cost and how do I get started?
Standard monthly cost is $12.50 per endpoint with a 1 year term. Currently we are waiving implementation fees and eliminated monthly fees through May 31st to support you during the current crisis. Visit www.greystonetech.com/protectme to request more information and get started.
More details about how the SOC team operates
When an alert comes in it is immediately analyzed by one of the security professionals at the security operations center to determine the legitimacy of an alert. Once an alert has been analyzed and deemed a concern action is immediately taken on the system and/or network in question. Such actions that may be taken are stopping a malware process, mitigating encryption of the local hard drive, as well as disconnecting a system from a network to eliminate the possibility of total network infection. In many cases, systems can be rolled back to a safe point minimizing the recovery time. It’s the power of the Security Operations center that makes this solution as effective as it is.
