We’re doing a happy dance – for the fourth year in a row, Greystone employees have made us a Denver Post Top Workplace. I personally can’t imagine a higher honor than one that our team members bestow on us, and we’ve just earned this one for the fourth time! Reviewing the survey results is always interesting (and usually somewhat humbling as well – even as a top workplace, we still have room to grow), and we always learn something. We learn about what we’re doing well, where we’ve improved year over year, and where we still have work to do.

Some of the areas that I’m most proud of this year speak to the job that our leaders are doing.  Questions like the following got extremely high ratings:

As we’ve grown in the two or so years that I’ve been a part of Greystone, it’s been wonderful to see our leaders evolving into who they are today. A cohesive, enthusiastic, persistent bunch, now consisting of 40% women (girl power, anyone?). We continue to learn about what’s most important to the people who make Greystone what it is – the individuals on the front lines daily, delivering service.

Building a top workplace is a journey that requires constant work and adjustment, but perhaps the most important thing we can do as leaders is creating a space in which it’s safe to speak up. When team members feel like they can bring up their concerns and be heard, as leaders, we’re doing our job. Creating that safety in a work environment isn’t easy, and we aren’t perfect, but the fact that we continue to work towards it is incredibly meaningful, and I’m proud to be a part of it.

We’re hosting a hiring happy hour in Boulder on June 21st and we’d love for you to check out our culture and see what we’re all about or visit our Careers website to get connected with our team.
